Twenty Five

Today is my twenty fifth birthday. I am twenty five years old - please let me have this time for things to settle in. The waves of a "quarter century crisis" come and go. I am employed. I am single. I am living at home. I enjoy helping others. I continue to seek the new and unknown. I speak openly about my anxiety. I am constantly learning. I am quiet and I am loud. I find comfort in routine, but I also enjoy challenges. I (try to) push myself out of my comfort zone. I am happy. I am healthy. I am excited. I am me and all things Manda.

My friend, Madisen (IG: @madisen.noel), started in March "Twenty Five Things, I've Never Done, 25 Days Leading up to My 25th Birthday" and I instantly fell in love with the idea! As much as I wanted to jump on the next plane to travel to places I had never explored, I knew that now was not the right time. I had the opportunity to experience new things in my own backyard (the Bay Area). I tried to have my days focus on my own personal, professional and philanthropic development since I find a balance of those three clusters to be very important for anyone. I do have to admit that a lot of days could be considered "social" but if you know me, I am a social butterfly so that makes sense. So please enjoy my slideshow of "Twenty Five Things, I've Never Done, 25 Days Leading up to My 25th Birthday" that is attached below.

My intention is that this may spark something in you to experience the unknown. Happy Sunday y'all, I hope you all celebrate today like I am - happy, healthy and surrounded by love. ~A
